This is admittedly a rediscovery. I use to play this song on loop. It gives the feeling of driving a nice sleek car, windows tinted, rain falling, big city, with you hand on someone’s thigh. That is so hyper specific but that’s the vibe, okay? The pre-chorus is addictive. We love songs that make us learn bits of a new language! (idk any French)

This white man is slightly unsettling (his photos and the video I saw on spotify). I don’t know how to explain it—it’s like kinda cool artsy guy who smokes cigs and wears a beanie, but makes you go ?? I cannot deny his vocals are soooo good and smooth and I will apologize if he ever sees this, but it definitely gives me Justin Timberlake vibes so if you want the vibe without uh JT I suggest him. Also, this song you cannot help but move it. It will definitely be on my annual playlist.

Damn, Sam Smith. Whew. The two turtles alone already had me feeling so soft and emotional, but this song?! I know it is going to become a wedding anthem and for good reason. This is a love song. This is what I strive for. This feels. This feels! That’s it. It feels. I feel. You will feel. So good!

Just in time for one of my least favorite astrological signs and seasons…anyway if I am forced to suffer through Pisces season then why not do it with a song that definitely helps me recenter. Just I have such big feeeeeeeeelings. Willow gets it. If you need a song to stim to, dance to, and shake it all out to, I highly recommend this one.

I thought this was a boa song when I first heard it because the vocals are so eerily similar to some of her releases like better or black. But it’s not! It’s been fun getting to now Sophiya. This song is so fun and vibey. I remember when tropical house was inescapable in kpop for a while, pre 2020 which is when this song came out. It offers me upbeat nostalgia in a timeless way.

Hey, so this music video is actually deranged and unhinged and I am not okay. God I am a giant, huge, big time lesbiaaannnnnnn. Christ idk who I want to be more or who I want more after watching this music video. I already enjoyed this song because unfortunately a mean-faced tatted masc is gonna do it for me every single time. But these two—together? Jesus. That kiss made my toes curl and my heart race lmfao. Wild.
